Giacomo Marini

Giacomo is founder and Managing Director of Noventi (previously Cypress Ventures/CIR Ventures), a technology venture capital firm and Chairman of Marini Investments, a private investment company. 

In 1981, Giacomo co-founded Logitech (Nasdaq: LOGI). He was with the company until 1992 as a director and member of the management team launching Logitech and driving it to become a world leader in computer-input devices. He served most recently as Executive VP, Chief Operating Officer. Earlier, he was Executive Vice President, Engineering and Operations; and Vice President of Engineering.

Prior to Logitech, he held technical and managerial positions with Olivetti and IBM.

Giacomo is also Chairman of TES Automation, and a director of ECO Industrial Group, Ecrio, Inc, Minerva Networks and PC-TEL (Nasdaq: PCTI). He is Silicon Valley Advisor for CDB Web Tech, a venture capital fund of funds. Previously, he was Chairman of Teknema, an Internet appliances company.

He holds a Laurea Degree, cum laude, in Computer Science from the University of Pisa, Italy.
